I'm a Data Engineer with 12.5 years of experience, currently working with a medium size service based organization. My current skill set includes SQL, AWS, Hadoop, Python/PySpark technologies. My title currently is tech lead (from last 3 years) and my current pay falls in 20-25LPA. I have a pay rise in pipeline (30-35L) along with title change (solution architect) in discussion.
I could see others profiles with similar years of experience are getting 50-80L. Can anyone help me understand what should be my primary focus to achieve this target pay? Should I acquire a new skill or target specific organizations? If I should target FAANG like organizations, how should I prepare for interviews?
