I was 17 when I started testosterone and I was ecstatic about it. It made me feel calmer in myself and helped me with socializing (given the new voice) and focusing on tasks and school. I never received any negatives from testosterone but Iām detransitioning slowly because I no longer feel ill over the idea of being female.
