Is there anything that would have made transitioning work?

I mean I am sure if you could be just cis whatever you wanted, but I mean is there anything that could have made you decide to stay transitioning besides that. Anything that was not told to you, or wish you were told? Or would it have to be something that is simply not possible at all? Just was curious how other people felt about it now in relation to when you first decided to detrans.
