It is far more frustrating to repeatedly wipe in an encounter because someone is pretending to know what is happening when they don't.
It's intimidating, there are mean people out there, but there is a good majority of people that are willing to give some pointers if you aren't sure what to do. For yourself to enjoy raids more, for others to enjoy raids more, just please be honest about how much you know about the raid.
