Like the title says. But figured I'd go for it. Last month one of my very good friends named Kyle passed in his sleep. He had a heart attack in his sleep right in bed next to his wife. She didn't even notice until morning. The worst part was we had grown apart as we grew up of course. But he had literally a week or two before announced him abd his wife of quite a few years were finally gonna have a baby together. They took the photo of each of them wearing a Player 1 Player 2 shirt while each holding a Player 3 joing session onesie. He was a good guy. He was the best one of his our friend group. Like my friend group all went through their own kind of hell, but him, no he was always good. Always there for you. But he'd call ypu on your bullshit too, ya know. The best word I have to describe him is stoic. I literally looked up to him. And he was the one that deserved to get out the most, more than any of us. He was the one who deserved happiness. Sorry.

But I'm, so my buddy Kyle was a HUGE DESTINY fan. He always tried to get me to play with him, but I sucked at it and just brought the team down lol. He didn't mind, but I felt bad and stayed away. Wish I played more.

Is there anything we could do in game for him? Anyway to commemorate him. Pretty sure he was in a clan, im sure i could find that. Ive got his gamer tag or I know I can easily find his bungee stats. But idk, I'd love it if one day his child can maybe sit at his computer desk and log into some his saves and see the Guardian superhero their father was. I don't deserve any help with this. I just really think this is one guardian who could use some remembering. Sorry if this comes off as tasteless or rude to others. Don't mean it like that. Just want to remember a friend where I think he'd like to be remembered.

Edit: I just want to truly thank you all for your kind words, condolences and just your thoughtfulness. It made today brighter for myself. You guys choked me up. But in a good way. Thank you for being so kind and idk gentle about this. Thank you truly. And I know my friend can see or feel this love from the community of people he loved. It's means so much. I have destiny 2 and the nightfall campaign I got from plus so I hope I can get to wherever anyone would want to get together. I'm downloading now. Should be done soon.

And I would totally understand if someone needed me to verify with a mod or anything. I just don't want to throw out his full name. Idk if I can even share his account name or not. I don't want to be the weird edit person. But this support has truly warmed my heart. Im smiling, im tearing up. Thank you all. I never expected this. I would LOVE to have a vigil/ ceremony in the next few days if possible. Id like to include as many people as possible that want to be there. Idk how to really organize something like this. But maybe post an optimal time that's okay for you and we can hopefully reach a happy medium. Maybe a suggestion on a good spot for a large gathering? Sorry not super familiar with the newer stuff. Should I make a new post to ask for times for anyone who'd like to attend? Sorry, just want to do the best I can without disturbing the community at all. I'd love to try to capture as much as possible. I think it would be powerful to see what he helped to bring together and show how amazing people can be.

Sorry for the poor quality. I'm doing all this on my phone. But id like to atleast try to set a time and place. Um I don't know where honestly would be appropriate. I'm sorry not super familiar with the game anymore. But could we try to maybe get together for Kyle maybe tomorrow from let's say noon until evening? I'll log in and plant my character at a spot and stay, that way as many that want to be apart of this can. I'm in no way asking you to spend the entire time there. I'd also like to thank everyone for bearing with me here. While trying to get as much Info as possible, I came across so much content with his last few videos, hearing him talk, celebrating being pregnant. It brought a lot up, in a good but difficult way.
