Derealization after being sick?

Post Body

I experienced derealization/depersonalization last year for a few months. It was terrible had to take off work, etc. it got better over time. I just had a cold/slight pneumonia and was given doxycycline to get over it. The side effects were awful so I stopped after 4 days of taking it. I now am experiencing dr/dp and lots of anxiety relating to it, and I even have been off of the antibiotics for almost a week. Does anyone else panic when about to eat or lose senses, feel like theyโ€™re out of control :( I hate this and Iโ€™m constantly panicking.

Iโ€™m 4 years in so I know the pain :/

Very normal. Being sick is a trigger for DPDR especially something serious like pneumonia. Iโ€™m sorry its flaring up right now, just take good care of yourself and hopefully it will improve soon ๐Ÿ’œ
