How to get out of your head?

I've been in a rough spot for the past couple months but lately I've been in my head more and suffering constant headaches and depressive episodes. I do plan to go back on meds in a few week's time once I have a specialist appointment for another problem going on, but until then, any advice or tips to get out of my head? I'm overthinking and freaking myself out.
