treating depression with antipsychotic

i have been through a LOT of different types of anti depressants. there’s just very few that work for me. right now i am on 100mg of pristiq and i’ve been on it for about 5 years now. but it isn’t cutting it. my doctor today told me that she was going to put me on an antipsychotic on top of my pristiq. i was wondering if anyone else has had successes or has been on any antipsychotics (specifically my doctor is putting me on abilify)
