We dated for almost 2 years and every time he had an episode he took āŖiļøt ā¬out on the relationship.
Iāve been more than patient with him, supportive, and very active in his mental health trying to be a better partner for him.
Recently I found out he was entertaining someone from his past and I left him shortly after that.
Before we even got to that point he would say things like āI donāt need youā ..... āYou donāt have to hear or see from me again I donāt careā ..... āWe can go back to being strangers again I donāt careā after my attempts to help him feel better or basically telling him how his actions affect the relationship or my feelings.
So Iām wondering if this is common with depression and what exactly do you think your partner should do in this situation? Because my feelings are deeply hurt right now knowing I did everything I couldāve to help. I feel like heās guilt tripping me to an extent but too delusional to even realize where he messed up
