Is being contented with being average bad?

People always want to excel at something. I just want to enjoy little things. I don't have extravagant dreams. I just want to have a healthy life style and a decent pay, so I can sustain the life style I want. I am not dreaming of having a car, I don't buy clothes , I do not want to enter the corporate world. I am now a college student and currently working on my undergraduate thesis. My parents push me to take engineering because it will bring you wealth in life, but for me living a simple life style, eating 3x a day, and doing things I love the most is LIFE. Is there anything wrong about it? I live in my parents house and I'm 23. I'm still figuring the thing that I love the most. I'm lost. I need suggestions and helpful tips about this matter. Thank you.
