Any tips and pointers on what one could do to cope with the symptoms?

I'll start: when I feel myself starting to devolve I've noticed getting some bright sunlight helps heighten my mood a bit (I live in a very gloomy, dark house).

Also, a snack from time to time helps pull me out of a runt since I always forget to eat (helps balance my energy levels).
