Feeling alone is so much more than the lack of people in your life. I’m currently standing in the midst of people I call my friends, a cast in a musical that I’m in, something each of us had worked our ass off for everyday together. Yet I feel completely alone and isolated. I feel like there is a glass box around me and I just watch as people go about their day. Feeling alone is much more feeling isolated around people, especially people you know care about you, rather than feeling lonely because there’s no one around.
