How to unlearn what I've learned?
Post Body

Hey everyone. I hope everyone's doing their best to get better. I don't know if this is the right place to communicate what I want to but it's a cry for help.

I used to be very much better in my life without all this excessive knowledge we get on social media.

For example, I was happy with my phone and it's specifications that cost me under $300 but I learned about the flagships and how I need to have all the latest and greatest features and after buying a flagship phone, I only got more depressed.

Another example is how I was happy go lucky in my relationships and generally the everyday people I used to meet and talk on social media but after reading excessively and also watching videos on human psychology, mental disorders, human nature and needs and everything in between, I started assuming their next step and it always proved to be right, I have gotten addicted to having the same practices and it really causes me to not focus on my work a lot and I have ended up resigning from jobs in the past that paid me good .

I just need to find a way, if anyone can give me a direction, to be my own innocent self where I didn't get into all the minute details about things that includes people, work, health, nutrition, technology, family dynamics etc.

I am 34, by the way and thanks for reading!
