Please hear me out. I am not a total DM fanatic but I have grown up with their music since the 90s. Like most of us Violator is my favourite album. But the one song that I am still addicted to listening is Clean. The background deep grunge bass lines and their deep voices especially when "Sometime" is said drives me insane. It's almost climaxing. I wish there was a proper remix with more of that bass line or a dub version. But for me, the name of the song and the lyrics do not suit the music itself. For me, it should have been called Mean and the lyrics should have been darker, around being dirty, revengeful and spiteful for someone that was Mean to them. Every time I hear the song I make up my own lyrics around Mean. 😂 crazy I know. Thoughts?
