Good morning y'all,
My parents just recently had to move to the suburbs from the northwest side. I had planned on NOT living on campus due to me being in such close proximity to the LPC, but of course now that's changed. Luckily enough, I am fairly close to a Metra station that can take me to OTC which is a hop, skip, and a jump away from the brown line merchandise mart station. So a 20 minute L ride after a 40ish minute metra ride. Not bad.. However, the distance between my new house and the metra station is slightly over a mile and a half. Parking stickers cost about $500 a year and are onna waiting list anyway, so I can't use my car. I suppose what I'm asking here, is if I got one of those Ninebot electric kickscooters, would I be allowed to bring it with me into classes? I really would only need it to get to the Metra station, not so much on campus but obviously I am not going to be trying to lock it up outside. That is a great excersize in losing $400 in about 10 minutes. I would love anyone's insight on whether or not I can bring a folded kick scooter into a lecture with me.
Thank yall very much for any information!
