It's so difficult to meet people-- women, I mean. Since online dating and meeting people IRL have been difficult due to my introverted personality and environment (I was in the Boulder area for years until finally moving to Denver in Feb '21), I tried to lean into my bisexuality in my 30s. But... guys? Meh. I spent a lot of time on Grindr stoned and lonely in my 30s, off and on when I got lonely enough, but that didn't do much for me besides make me feel even lonelier, miss women more. Men were only fun when I had shame, and was stoned/drunk enough to think that might actually halfway enjoy myself (and I rarely, rarely ever did) :-/.
I really miss women, ergo, this hail Mary. I'm a quite slim, white bi dude, tattooed, single, no kids, originally from the East Coast and recently tested for STIs (negative). I had a vasectomy in my 20s, so, no children in this life! βΊοΈ
I've no relationship with my family-- I don't like crazy rednecks or Jesus-flavored bigotry-- so the Loneliness hits me hard at times, esp. around the dreaded holiday season. I have a stable job that covers the bills for me to live alone, but this is Denver-- I'm not taking in dough. I don't even drive. I feel totally doomed on dating apps, since I tend to be more about honesty than marketing myself. Seems silly, imo, to try and appear any different than I am.
Idk what I'm looking for, but let's call my desideratum a "magical lady-friend," whatever that might mean. Friendship, cuddle-buddy... hard to say. I don't think a ONS would do much, but tbh, at this point I wouldn't be against that either. Wary of, but not against. I'd much sooner make a Platonic friend than spend one night with someone, but, chemistry dictates how all of that goes.
I'm open to 'mild to wild.' Movie or dinner dates, chatting, walks around the city to convince one another we're both on the proverbial level. I don't like competitiveness-- the closest I come to sports is pro-wrestling, and I'd take a good book or horror movie, or a nice run or walk, or dancing badly at a club (if alone) over most group activities.
Idk.. if you think we might get along, DM me. Otherwise, thanks for reading this hot mess!
