Hey Redditors of Denver,

I moved to your lovely state back in July. I found a job through AmeriCorps and now I help veterans in Boulder County. It's a great and rewarding job, but it doesn't exactly pay a lot, thus is the AmeriCorps way.

Anyways, I'm looking to make it home for the holidays, specifically thanksgiving but the trip is rather expensive. I'm looking to take on as many jobs in the next ten days to try to earn approximately $500.

I am an English major with a journalism background. I'm also a veteran. I'm not above any job provided it doesn't interfere with my 9-5.

I'm actually located in Longmont, but if it's a decent paying job I'm willing to travel.

I really desperate and just need help, but I don't want a handout.
