Hello,
I am a bootcamp educated (General Assembly) frontend focused, full-stack experienced software engineer seeking my first role.
In addition to my bootcamp education I have a Bachelor's degree in graphic design with a focus on print and web layout design and structure. While I have no employment experience in the field yet, I have ~3 years of experience working on personal projects, and learning new tech on my own balanced with working a non-tech job in the mean time. Most recently I've been learning Next.js and plan to start a new full-stack project soon using Next, Tailwind CSS, Node, and SQL/Postgres. Will be giving Next Auth a shot but may default to Auth0 instead.
While it's not completely unexpected, I've been having a very hard time finding companies to pay any attention to me without a CS degree and without previous professional experience. I'm very eager to land this first job! I'm a hard working, dedicated and motivated developer and truly believe that when given the opportunity, I'll be a great addition to any team.
If you know anyone hiring junior/entry-level software engineers/developers please reach out here or via email!
