So yesterday a girlfriend of mine was asked out by a boy she previously had a fling with. They’ve not spoken in a while and he very vaguely eluded to them meeting up for a drink, through out this convo he also mentioned he wanted to go hiking, she was unsure if he was telling her this was just something he was thinking about doing or if this was a suggestion for them to go together. She responded and they wind up making a plan for a drink this Friday. Where I took issue is that he was so flippant on a plan. His suggestions were vague and difficult to read in to if it was even an invite, that’s little bitch boy behavior imo. If a boy wants to see you regardless if he was looking to hook up with her or if he wanted to meet to see if there was interest in a romantic relationship I don’t fuck with the drinks or FREE activity like hiking. It’s pathetic like is a $200 dinner going to break your whole bank?! Even if it was for a hook up like doesn’t seeing a beautiful woman dressed up over a dinner just build the lust, anticipation and tension regardless. Boys are truly so lazy , unimaginative , and frankly un interesting these days.
