Can demis have dirty talk and rp?

So I've been thinking of myself as demi ever since I discovered the term. Like the very concept of sexual attraction just vanishes from me when I'm around people that I haven't bonded with.
But quite recently I discovered that I can act lewd, do dirty talk and rp with strangers. Only in text though, anything more and I shut down again.
