Overwhelmed and need advice
Post Body

Hey everyone. My Dad has moved into stage 2 and with that I have gained a whole lot of caregiving responsibilities all at once. I'm also caregiving for my Mom who has some mental issues but can help sometimes.

My question is, how do I do this without going insane? It's a lot with my Dad being incontinent at night now, all the dishes, cooking, laundry, bills, and then my own chronic illness. Currently I am solo most days with both of them. My Mom jumps in when she can, but she might only be able to do one load of laundry or half the dishes and nothing else.

My Dad has Medicare managed care for insurance and I'm looking at coverage options for in home care currently, even if just for a few hours a week. Any other suggestions would be amazing!
