Tell me it really isn’t over
Post Body

I’m just ranting… but tell me our lives aren’t over once we begin caring for a LO with dementia. That we can still make time for our own personal goals instead of making this situation a stagnant phase for us. And that career transitions, bucket lists, (insert whatever else you desire) are all possible yet included with it’s own set of challenges. So many people have told me to give up my own goals for the LO, but call me stubborn or plain stupid - I’m not gonna. How in the world do parents with multiple children pursue school, careers, etc.? And you tell me that I won’t make it with my own goals…

Edit: Also if anyone wants just someone to chat with, feel free to DM me. We don’t need to be alone on this journey 💕
