So my mom who has dementia and is in a memory care facility keeps moving her stuff around and keeps blaming it on someone who she keeps referring to by the wrong name. The lady is also in the care facility and my mom refers to her as a friend that passed away in the late 90's. She has a bunch of clothes and pictures and other things and everytime I go to visit stuff is in completely new locations and she won't leave anything hanging up or in her closet.
She keeps talking about moving even though she has no car, her car is at my place and going to be selling it. Her license was medically revoked so she can't drive but she doesn't understand it. My question is how do you address that there is no reason to keep taking her stuff down or hiding her stuff. She was diagnosed in June of this year so been a real struggle trying to deal with everything and really have no one to talk to about anything that has been going on.
