Well. I had a flight on the 21st from LIS to CLT and I forgot to rebook it days before...so without knowing about the crash I tried to reschedule it on the app but to my dismay it wasn't working...then i tried online and surprise, it wasn't working. So I texted delta and they said "20min wait" after texting "yes" to "do you still need help" for about an hour and finding out about the meltdown, I gave up and saved it for a later day. I waited until the 24th, called Delta, got on the phone with an agent within minutes and he got my flight changed immediately (I even requested the flight with a leg to CDG to try to get the special flight card ðŸ¤). He did try to tell me "you canceled it, it will be $1300" to which I explained I never canceled it, I tried to rebook it multiple times, and I was even going to get credit back to my account from the original price. Then he agreed to waive the cost for me but "can't give you back any credit", I said...."ok" and that was the end. I do not have the will or the patience to stay on a call for 4hrs or text help for hours or stand in line for hours. I think it's much less stressful to enjoy the extra vacation and deal with it when everything cools down...but luckily I am able to do so, of course others have shit they need to do/get to, or can't afford extra days off, or whatever the case may be.
