Wanted to share my experience because it made my day. Coming home from San Diego β> Minneapolis tonight, I was booked for a flight at 5:15 pm from San Diego β> SLC, with a layover before SLCβ> MSP arriving to MSP at 12:59 AM. On the shuttle from the car rental space to terminal 2, I get a call from a number I donβt have asking if I can get on the direct San Diego β> Msp flight leaving in ~20 minutes @ 4:30. I say yes but explain i still have to get to the terminal and through security, they tell me i should be able to make it. I do end up making it, one of the last ones on the plane, and will now be arriving 2.5 hrs earlier than if I would have had I stayed on my original flight. Thank you Delta! Probably the best customer service experience I have ever had. Iβm a delta lifer.
