I am traveling enough this year that I can halfway reach Silver Medallion ($2500 MQD). I was thinking of opening up a Delta Amex Platinum so that I can get the $2500 MQD boost to bump me to Silver for 2025. My thought process is paying $350 annual fee for the boost as opposed to purchasing a $2500 plane ticket. Never been Medallion Status and was wondering if it was worth. I travel for pleasure and am based in ATL. In 2025, I will probably do holiday travel but nothing too big (so will maybe close the credit card if the cost to benefit is not worth it). I already have the Amex Platinum and Chase Sapphire. The 90,000 bonus miles is an attractive incentive right now.
