Traveling with 2 cats that each would need their own kennel since they're adults. Delta Cargo?

Post Body

Evening, reddit.

I've moving in July and I've been just.... so overwhelmed with trying to figure out the best way to do this. I'm moving from TX to GA and, in a perfect world, I want to have a professional moving company move my things, a car shipping company to move my car, and I fly with my cats instead of driving 16 hours. Money is no concern. I have savings set aside for exactly this trip.

I've read and researched, and tried my best to figure it out, but in no way it seems like I can travel with both of my cats by myself. I have thought about buying an extra seat for the extra space, but I don't know if this is an option. Unfortunately, one of my cats is a big girl and my boy is smaller - they would not be able to fit in one TSA approved kennel comfortably.

I'm not sure if I have anyone that can do the trip with me. They would have to fly one-way from GA and I would pay for them to come back with me (most likely using miles, lol) And there are things logistically that would make this part difficult.

I also noticed that there is Delta Cargo for dogs. Is this also an option for cats? The idea of putting my cats in cargo scares the hell out of me and I'll be a nervous wreck the whole flight, but this might be the "easiest" option logistically since I don't want to drive.

Any insight, advice, reassurance, your experiences will be greatly, greatly appreciated.

Thanks!
