Airline Incidental for AMEX Platinum

I do have an Amex Platinum and currently is a Gold Medallion. I have a flight that needs to be changed due to personal circumstances and I realized that there could be fare differences.
Does anyone know (or have used) if fare differences trigger this? I tried checking a change itinerary ticket but the breakdown shows “0 Change Fees” but only the fare difference (including taxes)?
