Hear me out. My city isn’t big, it was a little windy with some light rain over lunch time. I couldn’t really be bothered going out today but hadn’t ruled it out yet. I rejected order after order until I got a reasonably easy one in my local area. After rejecting over and over at 12:10 a boost came on for 1.2x and I started being offered the same orders for more money.
It must be part of the algorithm for an unscheduled boost to be activated - rather than someone manually activating it from Roo HQ or whatever as I kinda thought.
Anyway, if we all rejected orders for even 10 mins at the start of a lunch shift maybe it would break the algorithm and force a boost. Just a theory but I felt like I played a part in it this out of the blue boost today. Who knows.
