I have an old one plus 6 and I want to upgrade to a good degoogled phone. Preferably one of the more recent Samsung phones, with one of the good operating systems. But all of this is new for me and I'm not at tech quiz. If I spend enough time I can figure stuff out, but it takes a lot of energy and time.
So I need to figure out what kind of phone to buy, what kind of deals to get on it, what kind of operating system should go on it, what kind of access and ease-of-use I would have if I got that phone with that operating system, and what kind of things that I have to be aware of. Not to mention the steps I have to take to set all that up.
To make it more complicated, a lot of those things are interdependent. So where should I begin? What should I start with and how do I make a good decision that is not going to require a massive amount of learning just to function at the bare minimum?
