*AFAIK, Firefox is only available on Play store. I've heard about Mull browser being the superior in browsers available on F-droid compared to Firefox. So is it equal protection to Firefox? Or other browsers which are => firefox protection? I don't know to compile a source-code that's the case. So I should learn to compile?
This was the post I mentioned in my previous comment that has some source material on Brave https://www.reddit.com/r/privacy/s/uz2Ps73ef1
I was given more sources, but I'm having trouble finding them. Still looking though. I know the main thing privacy advocates dont like is the crypto aspect, but that can be disabled. According to some info in an article that was linked in that post, Brave was white listing some trackers.
I've heard that Brave is a no-no for privacy and security, despite it being focused for that. I'm looking for the sources that someone sent me on here. I was using Brave and liked it but I also don't like that it's based on Chromium, given that manifest v3 is coming. I switched over to FF with uBlock. I was using Mull and liked it but then got some warnings regarding vulnerabilities. But I'll try to find those sources on Brave.
Edit: found the sources I was looking for - https://www.reddit.com/u/lo________________ol/s/y3nDjo2Tdo

Here's a link to the github - https://github.com/Divested-Mobile/Mull-Fenix/issues/254
It looks like I might have jumped the gun. F-droid was stating there was a vulnerability and should be uninstalled. But it looks like it might have been due to an issue with F-droid and/or the fact that Firefox had been updated and Mull hadn't got the update yet. My apologies for the mistake :(
