Improve a basic CNN

I'm trying to recognize 3 car brands and am using a basic CNN of 6 layers, 4 Conv2D and 2 Dense layers. What is the first thing that comes to your mind about improving this model ? Increase the number of filters, the number of neurons in the dense layers, add a layer ?
