Hi all :)
Looking for some advice on a couple things. I live in a one bedroom apartment w limited space and no washer or dryer, it’s slowly getting more and more cluttered and I want a change so I can feel like I can breathe again!
I love fashion. I love clothes. I love shopping. have way too many clothes. WAY too many. I can’t bring myself to get rid of anything for a number of reasons (sentimental, maybe i’ll wear it or fit into it someday, what if I miss it, what if I wish I had it) My weight has also fluctuated so much so somethings don’t fit. I’m also in the process of losing weight so this adds another layer!
Not having a washing machine really sucks and I’ve gotten to the point where I’m only doing laundry once every few weeks just because I have a roster of clothes LOL.
I like the sticker idea I saw on here or the expiration date tags if you haven’t worn/used something in a year but i’m looking for something more immediate. Like I am ready to purge now but I just CANT! For some reason shoes are easy for me but that’s it LOL.
Another issue i’m running into is my massive amount of THINGS! Makeup/skincare, random items like vases or little dishes/trinket boxes, kitchen supplies (a ton), just truly random crap.
I can’t help but feel like someday I’ll maybe need or want to wear something that i’ve gotten rid of, or I’ll miss something/wont be able to find a replacement.
I’m deciding to stay in my apartment for another year and I really need to do something about all this stuff because it’s making it uncomfy and too cluttered.
Anyways, rant aside, please send all your tips and good energy!!
