I’m doing this to help my sleep. Every night I wake up around 2 am (I go to sleep at 9pm) and can’t fall back to sleep. Even if I’m absolutely exhausted. Finally after trying every sleep hygiene technique known to man I decided to try the hardest thing, the one vice I have, giving up my morning coffee.
I’m able to nap for the first time in 15 years. I could never fall asleep during the day before. So that’s a win. But I’m still having issues waking up and not being able to fall right back to sleep in the middle of the night. Has anyone else struggled with this? Did it get better over time with no caffeine? I’m wondering if this is a slower process than I originally suspected.
Thanks!
