So, here’s what I mean by this: I notice in 50s films, it seems like almost everyone who appears is legitimately conventionally attractive. Around the late 60s (and throughout the 70s) you start seeing what I think of as being more average looking people in film, and I’d say this continues into the 80s somewhat but that around the 90s you’re seeing celebrities who are for the most part quite conventionally attractive again (I really notice how different 70s celebrities look in comparison to now, I absolutely don’t think Farrah fawcett would be considered to be one of the most attractive women ever in our modern times.)
2000s, I’m not sure about. I hate the fashion but I’d have to watch more films from then and pay more attention to pop culture to say whether or not I think the actors and actresses were particularly attractive then.
But I’m also thinking of body types
