First year wherein the year becomes “uncool” to most people
Post Body

For example, my 80s obsession started in spring 2017 after seeing stranger things. I remember I watched almost every 80s movie I could, but had a lot of trouble getting into 1980 and 1981 in particular as those years felt like they had too much 70s influence, moreso than other years of the 80s (though I find the 70s quite cool now, sometimes,) and so those years weren’t “cool” to me (especially not 1980, which really did just look like the 70s.)

I also noticed around 2021 that even the years of the 80s I had once romanticized were becoming uncool to me (I moved onto the 90s around this period of time.) Like I watched the breakfast club and disliked it even though I’d always really enjoyed it. I also noticed the opening to sixteen candles was no longer awesome to me
