Particularly the mid-late 1960s. I can’t imagine having actually lived back then, it’s too long ago, but if you compare the 50s to the 60s (at least pop culture’s perception of both,) there’s such a huge change, I just can’t imagine having been alive at the time and watching it happen. Fashion, the style of films…
Watching Midnight Cowboy in particular, and comparing it to a film like streetcar named desire, really helps highlight these changes. I
