Newer kernels causing restart on kernel load
Post Body
Hey, I've had this issue ever since i installed debian and hoped a newer kernel would fix this issue, but none of the updates thus far have fixed this issue. I can use the oldest kernel installed thankfully but all others will cause this odd issue where it will appear to start loading then spit me back out at what seems to be a complete reboot. I have tried my absolute hardest to get some sort of log of this as I really need SOME sort of indication but i have been unable to find any indication as to what is going on. I will provide all the information i can:
- I am using debian sid
- This is booting from UEFI, not BIOS. not sure what difference this makes or if it does.
- CPU is an AMD A10 6800k and RAM has been checked and is completely clean of any issue.
- PSU voltages were checked and it is running at near perfect condition.
- Windows will boot just fine on a completely different hard drive and the SSD i use for linux is brand new and has no issues.
- Only kernel that boots is 5.3.0-2-amd64
I'm sorry for not providing any more than this but I really can't figure out what's going on here
