SPOLIERS

Ive finished the series and done some research about the books and other random topics. Im a little obsessed. One thing ive constantly thought about, is what would i do if i had the Death Note.

I have come to the conclusion, that Light Yagami is in fact the smartest character i have followed. His morals are an exact match of my own. His use of people, and lack of empathy. His idea, his goal, is perfect. Its the perfect use for the book. To create a new world and be a God. The one thing he did wrong, was the hostage scene with his sister. He should have killed her. If he wouldn’t have lost possession of the book, he would have succeeded. Its a little out of character even, and i was a little disappointed with the turn of events after that moment. He should have killed her.

I want to know what you guys think. Or, i would be interested to read or continue the story in an alternative world where he did kill his sister, completed the New World, and lived as the true God he is.
