So I just rewatched the episode with Raye Penber on the bus. He dies that episode. But all L would have to do is backtrack to where that FBI agent was the âdayâ he died, find out he was on a the hijacked bus, interview everyone who was on the bus and find out from Lightâs date that he was there. That would effectively solve Kira and render Light guilty right? Thereâs no way no one knew where Penber was, and especially if he died that episode along with a criminal in a strange circumstance, wouldnât that warrant some further investigation? I donât know, maybe Iâm overlooking something. Thoughts?
EDIT: ESPECIALLY since Penber was specifically following Light for a few days leading up to the bus incident. Someone else had to know âokay, Penber is tasked with following Light, thatâs what heâs doing right now.â So when he ends up dead, isnât it immediately known that Light had something to do with it?
