Hello fellow followers of Father Nurgle!

I'm starting soon my Death Guard army - got the Council of the Death Lord and Combat Patrol boxes.
Already know how I want to paint them, but I struggle with the base idea. Bases are very important to me, as the give the minis so much more live into them.

I played with the idea of 3D printed bases to glue on top and paint those or making them from the ground up with AK Interactive products and add some effects on them. Generally I want to stay with the theme of the Death Guard and make something griddy, swampy, decaying...you get the idea.

What did you do for your models and how did look? Any suggestions and tips on how make them?
