Ruminating about death
Post Body

A few years ago I lost my grandmother and it was my first time experiencing all the different stages of death so close. She passed at home over a 5 day period and I had been her caregiver for 2 years leading up to it so I was present for the entire process. Since then I’ve been thinking about death a lot. About what it is, its affects, how it feels, how it affects others and stuff like that. I was wondering if that’s a normal thing to happen after experiencing loss. It’s constantly on my mind and I can’t really stop thinking about it. I have had a tough time processing it and am still going through the grieving process, was wondering if this preoccupation with death is part of that.
