If there are any music listeners/collectors out there with vast mp3 collections who don't want to be tied to Apple or Google cloud storage ecosystems for your music, it's time to give MyMusicCloud a try.
I'll preface this by stating out right that I am an employee of the company that builds the app. However, bare with me... this isn't quite a marketing ploy.
We released a new version of our Android app and included a promotional feature that lets you upgrade to the unlimited plan (unlimited storage (no gigabyte limits), connect up to 10 devices, no ads) and get your pick of any album from the music store and get it for free. This was supposed to be only valid if you met certain criteria - using the app for a certain amount of time, uploaded a certain amount of tracks, etc.
A bug slipped through the cracks which has made the offer valid to anyone and before we fix it I'm letting folks know how to unlock the offer.
Why? because a bug is much more tolerable if I can bring in some new users whilst we fix it. Consider it a temporary easter egg.
How? - Download the Android app (only works on android) https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.triplayinc.mmc&hl=en - Sign up - Hit the menu button on your device - Choose account - Click upgrade - Pay by credit card (doesn't work with PayPal) - Once upgraded ($39.99/year) go to the store and you'll see every album marked as $0.00. (that's the bug) - Search for one you want, click buy and it'll add to your account for free.
