I’m not sure who else agrees with this, but I was a bit disappointed that you only hear the siren on the opening of the map and towards the end game portion. It would’ve been amazing for it to cue even every 45 seconds-2 minutes to avoid constant spamming, or something to that effect! The sound is so badass.
I realize that perhaps there may be an inherent belief that it adds a distraction to being able to hear survivors and Vice versa, but I think it’s still fair game. Some of the stimuli overdrive that could be a result of it, may be a good thing. I notice bodies drop out of lockers and other areas on occasion across the map, and I think it could be more scary if you are trying to process the killer being nearby, the siren noise and bam, a body falls out at random.
All in all, though, the siren really adds to the atmosphere and I think that immersion is important. Do you think devs would ever look into this, or is the plan solid at this point?
