For all those crying hook camping doesn't need to be addressed....you're wrong
Post Body

Allowing hook camping simply forces the common play to shift to every man for himself instead of actual fun co-op play against a scary killer. Why fucking bother rescuing someone if you know that 90% of the time the killer just hook camps.

Its the same as the instant down perk once the doors are open for the killer. Why bother helping anyone...just fucking leave the map.

Additionally, Killers that hook camp tend to body block by standing right in front of the hooked survivor. This makes it so that you cannot save the victim at all as no option (m1 button) shows up.

Now I'm not saying that the killer can't camp near a hook, I am just saying that after hooking the victim, the killer shouldn't be allow within a small radius of the hook until another survivor enters that radius (I'm talking like a 2-3 foot radius).

Additionally placing traps directly under the hook shouldn't be allowed unless you give survivors a grace period to getting hit after rescuing someone from a hook and after getting off of a hook. Trap placement should be skilled, not in a spot where half the time we can't even disarm it and instead it instantly forces us to take the person off the hook..

Either way, when it comes down to it, hook camping is a shit mechanic that forces shit play.

EDIT - Again, Note that I am not saying a killer can't still watch a hook from a disctance, I am saying they shouldn't be allowed to camp within a very close proximity to it. If the mechanic intended for them to stand right next to the hook the whole time, then survivors should get to instantly pull someone off a hook instead of taking 5 seconds to do so..

GJ on breaking ToS with the downvotes guys. Simply because you disagree is not a valid reason and is just a dick move. Instead of just downvoting, why don't you actually contribute something useful to the converstaion....or not, just hide in the shadows of the interwebs.
