I personally don't think this is fair really. The cenobite was able to kill someone in the first minute of the game because they offed themselves on their first hook. Then what the killer would do is face-camp anyone timed it right for when they'd unhook themselves he'd get a chain on them and then get a down immediately. Even if you ran you wouldn't get far. Naturally this gets him a free hook on occasions, when people think that the survivor will escape free since they're being face camped. He killed 2 using this, and then the last found hatch. Frustrating that this is how people are playing during the event. It feels soulless and boring, and I can't even begin to comprehend how anyone can play the game like this, it's undeniably unfun for both sides.
