DDO and sales question

I just have some quick questions about sales before I spend any money here. The wiki had some info but it looked like it hasn't been updated in a long time and was incomplete so couldn't answer my questions.
Do DDO points every go on sale?
Is there/how often do big sales occur? (Besides the little weekly offerings)
Do the epic destinies ever go on sale? And roughly how often/when was the last time?
