My partner and I were cleaning out our storage unit. We found our daughters old kitchen play set, she's in her terrible teen phase, hooray! We were goofing around with it and role played as if she was a little girl. A flood of memories overcame me of the good ol' days of when no was adorable not mean. Kind of wish we could watch Frozen for the ten billionth time today. We are going to explore this since my partner never knew her father and I enjoy being a father. My father was in the military and played a role in putting out the oil field fires during the Gulf War so I didn't see him much in my youth. I know he meant well but I don't have many memories of him and didn't want to be the same to my daughter. Now I get to do it every so often.
