What are some ways I can feel more connected and comforted in my DD/lg relationship when it comes to not wanting to be sexually active?

I haven’t had the most amount of experience when it comes to having a relationship and sustaining a DDLG lifestyle but I know it can work out, why is it though something always needs to be sexual. I understand some partners are open to it often but I feel like as a Caregiver not just a Daddy or Dom, but someone that’s there for you and help you be little should want that more. Same goes for some littles. Maybe I’m not cut out for this style of life or am I missing something?
