Can't look down in VR

hi folks, first post here:

After flying a lot in MSFS lately i wanted to try out DCS World in VR. I got the steam version and started the free Mustang tutorial with my Quest on Virtual Desktop. However i can't look down in the cockpit. I can look to the left and to the right, can see my ailerons moving, but as soon as i try to look down i get crazy stuttering, like DCS is fighting against me.

I don't think that its a performance issue, i'm running a GTX 1080 with a 2600X and 16GB RAM, DCS installed on a SSD.
